Guided Colorado Fly Fishing – General Info

The Colorado Angler’s fly fishing guides are some of the most experienced in the business.  Bringing more than 60 years of cumulative guiding experience to the operation, our fly fishing guides will provide you with a Colorado fly fishing experience that you are not soon to forget.  We cater to both experienced fly fishermen and first-timers alike, as well as everyone in-between.

If you are a “never-ever” fly fisherman, your guide will begin the day with casting and general fly fishing instruction that will ensure that your trip is one of pure enjoyment that will build your confidence in fly fishing for the future.  If you are already a seasoned angler, your guide will provide you with local knowledge on fly patterns and technique that will help you to catch the “big one” and hopefully lots of them on your guided fly fishing trip in Colorado.

All guided fly fishing trips with The Colorado Angler include all fishing gear (fly rod, reel, boots & waders), transportation, non-alcoholic refreshments and the best local fly fishing guides in the business.  Lunch is provided for full-day trips. Trout flies, license and gratuity are not included in the price of the trip.  All of our guided fly fishing trips are completely customizable, and our guides are more than happy to do it, so don’t hesitate to tell them exactly what you want from your guided Colorado fly fishing trip.

The Colorado Angler’s outfitter number is 2732.  All of our fly fishing guides meet the state requirements, are trained in first-aid and CPR, and are certified guides, trip leaders, and/or whitewater instructors.
