1. Come Prepared
It is a good idea to come prepared for just about any weather you can imagine. Proper sun protection is a MUST in Colorado’s high country in all seasons, as is proper protection from the elements. The list below is an all-seasons list and is by no means all-inclusive. Please be sure to bring proper layers, even in summer, as the weather can change both rapidly and dramatically.
We recommend that you bring some or all of the following:
- Fishing License, order number from your online transaction, or the email with the confirmation number from the online purchase
- Water bottle
- Extra base or mid-layer, even in the summer
- Rain jacket
- Sunscreen
- Sun-protecting hat
- Polarized sunglasses
- Waterproof protection for your phone/camera
- Any prescription medications – we can store then appropriately
2. Fishing License
You will need a valid Colorado fishing license. If you don’t already have a current license, please purchase your Colorado fishing license online. We can assist you if you would rather purchase one at our shop. You will need a valid state issued ID, and a social security number to purchase one in person.
3. Required Paperwork
We require all participants to complete a waiver once per year and one participant per trip to complete a contract. Please use the link sent to you to complete these documents. If you don’t have the confirmation email, please don’t hesitate to call the shop and we will resend it.
