July 14 Krystal 93 Fishing Report
July 13th, 2011
GOOD MORNING SUMMIT COUNTY, I’M ANDREW WITH THE COLORADO ANGLER AND THIS IS YOUR HIGH COUNTRY FISHING REPORT FOR THURSDAY, JULY 14TH.
THE LACK OF RAIN IN THE HIGH COUNTRY YESTERDAY, WILL ONLY HELP LOCAL RIVER CONDITIONS CONTINUE TO IMPROVE. WE ARE STARTING TO SEE A DOWNWARD TREND TO MANY STREAM FLOWS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY.
YESTERDAY AFTERNOON THE ARKANSAS RIVER AT HAYDEN MEADOWS DROPPED TO ITS LOWEST LEVEL IN 31 DAYS. LOOKING AT THE SHORT TERM FORECAST, THIS SHOULD CONTINUE TO HAPPEN ON MOST OF OUR LOCAL RIVERS, IN SOME CASES THE DROP COULD BE DRAMTIC AND QUICK.
WITH THAT IN MIND WE ARE ECOURAGING ANGLERS TO CHECK REGULARLY ON STREAM FLOWS AND BE READY FOR A DAILY IMPROVEMENT TO THEIR FAVORITE HOT SPOTS. WITH IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS A LOT OF RIVER OPTIONS ARE GOING TO RETURN TO PRODUCTIVE ALTERNATIVES AND THE EXODUS OFF OF STILLWATER ON TO RIVER FISHERIES WILL BEGIN.
AS ALWAYS, FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION ON THESE OPTIONS AND OTHER TIPS FOR FINDING FISH, COME BY AND SEE US AT THE COLORADO ANGLER IN THE SUMMIT PLACE SHOPPING CENTER IN SILVERTHORNE, NEXT TO BLUE MOON BAKERY OR GIVE US A CALL AT 970.513.8055 AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.THECOLORARADOANGLER.COM FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.
