July 27 Krystal 93 Colorado Fishing Report
July 27th, 2011
GOOD MORNING SUMMIT COUNTY, I’M ANDREW WITH THE COLORADO ANGLER AND THIS IS YOUR HIGH COUNTRY FISHING REPORT FOR WEDNESDAY, JULY 27TH.
YESTERDAYS WEATHER BROUGHT A COOL RESPITE FROM THE HEAT AND SUN THAT HAD BEEN DOMINANT OVER THE PAST WEEK, IT ALSO BROUGHT A WITH IT A NICE AFTERNOON OF DRY FLY FISHING. LOOK FOR A SIMILAR PATTERN TODAY AS WE RETURN TO A MONSOONAL FLOW OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CAPITALIZE ON THESE PERFECT DRY FLY CONDITIONS HEAD ON DOWN TO THE ARKANSAS WHERE MULTIPLE HATCHES ARE HAPPENING DAILY. THERE ARE PMDS AND YELLOW SALLY STONE FLIES COMING OFF UP AND DOWN THE CORRIDOR, AS WELL AS CADDIS IN THE UPPER REACHES.
TO THE WEST THE EAGLE RIVER IS PRODUCING GREAT RESULTS AS WELL. FLOWS ARE CLEAR AND ON THE STEADY DECLINE MAKING IT A FANTASTIC OPTION FOR BOTH FLOAT AND WADE ANGLERS ALIKE. THERE IS A SHORT WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY ON THE EAGLE AND ACTION IS HOT, SO CHECK THIS OUT SOONER VERSUS LATER.
AS ALWAYS, FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION ON THESE OPTIONS AND OTHER TIPS FOR FINDING FISH, COME BY AND SEE US AT THE COLORADO ANGLER IN THE SUMMIT PLACE SHOPPING CENTER IN SILVERTHORNE, NEXT TO BLUE MOON BAKERY OR GIVE US A CALL AT 970.513.8055 AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.THECOLORARADOANGLER.COM FOR MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.
